Very soon exactly two years ago we opened the first robinhood store in Berlin. A young idea tried its hand at a real actual proper store at Altenbraker Straße 15. A really big tippy step towards our vision: Building a new economic system.

We want to celebrate this day!

🧡 Soli memberships

It is important to us that the Robinhood concept works for all income groups. Until now, we have therefore oriented ourselves to a membership fee of 1% of the income. But the minimum contribution is 7 Euro. So what has not been taken into account so far are cases where people fall through the hole-ridden social net of the German state and as a consequence have to get by with less than Hartz 4. The fact that we have not taken such cases into account so far is also due to privileges that have not been sufficiently questioned and were perceived as normal. That is why we are now making improvements:

We are introducing a soli membership. If you don't get government or other aid and have little money, membership is free (no financial contribution, layers voluntary) and you get products at wholesale price.

We are currently still working on making it possible to select the soli-membership also on the website when you sign up - until then just write us an email to community@robinhood.store - and we will set up a soli account.

PS: We also work on a model for couples and WG-memberships. We hope to be able to give you more information about this soon!

🥛 The "Stolze Kuh" doesn't do milk processing anymore

Our favorite dairy producer, the "Stolze Kuh", is going through a restructuring: starting immediately, all milk processing, from milking to cheese making, will cease. They are continuing with meat products - We will make pre-orders for meat products from the best origins possible again from the beginning of December. More info on the background here.

🍞 Gluten-free bread

We will be offering fresh Gluten Free Bread every other Tuesday starting November 15. What is not sold will be frozen. For a small store like us it is not so easy to offer these things. That's why we now hope this info makes it into the calendars of people with gluten intolerance.
